things i lost in spain:

+ my favorite sunglasses. i guess since i found them on a beach (in the virgin islands), it's only fitting that i lose them on a beach (in barcelona).  i hope someone found them and is appreciating them now. and i hope they lose them on a beach in about a year.

+ my leopard print flats. i bought them in NYC on a day that i foolishly thought i could walk the city with armando in heels. i didn't particularly like them when i bought them, and at first they ironically hurt equally as bad as my heels. but then i broke them in and they became favorites. they were last seen at pol's apartment in gracia. i have a feeling they've become his new house slippers and he isn't telling me.

-the chord that connects my camera to my computer. the SD slot on my mac is broken, so this chord is vital to uploading pictures. i've been using other people's chords so far. here's to hoping theres always someone around me with the right chord.

-two blue socks (maybe the only matching pair i packed). i hung them on the clothesline at delphine's and they were gone when i went to collect my other clothes. grandma must've mistaken them for children's and i didn't have the heart to ask for them back.

-my dignity. i may or may not have met, fallen in love with, and gotten my heart broken by a guapo spanish guy, all within the span of 24 hours. it happens, right? haha!

In spain, adventure, favorite

i'm stefanie*, i was born in las vegas on the 4th of july. i'm a 23-year-old aspiring writer, photographer, life-long traveler, and amateur farmer. and i think you're really pretty.

I'm Stefanie! I'm a New York City filmmaker, photographer, traveler and writer. In love with my best friend.

For v-day we went on a long walk together to pick out a couple cuties that won’t wither and die in a couple days 🤞🏼 And tequila, of course. #dontbuymethingsthatdie #margaritas4E
NYC is officially full of slush and I am officially v over winter ✋🏼 pic of a time I almost got blown off a slushy mountain in NC, because, well, I didn’t leave my apt today 🙃 Who wants to go to the Caribbean with meee? 🙏🏼 🏝
I found one of my new favorite views of the city 🤤 thanks @rhumhamm @dearirving @alizhoteltimessquare last weekend with @juliestrain ✨
Daphne, about to walk down the aisle of trees at her parents’ farm house ✨ Belgium, 2018.
Portrait of a Dad patiently waiting to see his only daughter in her wedding dress for the first time. Belgium, 2018.
Obsessed with this classy lady at the nyc women’s march in 2017. #fromthearchives
This view 🤤
Imagine the best version of yourself and chase that relentlessly. ✨
Diary of a girl who stubbornly took up outdoor running in the beginning of winter while refusing to buy any of the appropriate attire. Because apparently I must do all things the hard way 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Currently feeling equal parts masochistic and proud that I still like it despite the frigid temps. Please note the stuffed animal from Ikea that I impulse purchased because it was too cute to walk away from and now David cuddles every night. 🐷
I woke up to the sound of a woman screaming on the street below. I sprang out of bed to the window to look, thinking maybe she was being murdered and I’d have to call 911. But nope, just cold. Just extremely windy and cold.
I’ve heard many more shrieks and screams coming from the street today as the howling winds no doubt pierced through whatever armor anyone could put on against it. The constant thrashing sound of trees, trash bags, and construction materials combined with the occasional subway rumbling down 7th st remind me a heck of a lot of what hurricanes sound and feel like. Earlier, I could see white caps on the East River, which was def a first.
So Winnie and I have been right here, just like this, and will attempt to resume normal life tomorrow when the winds have calmed down and the temperature doesn’t “feels like -3” 🙃
